Galerie La Forest Divonne presents  Tinka Pittoors’ ceramics for the first time in Paris. Her work combines the obvious joy of color with the extravagance of form, plunging the viewer into a dreamlike world where fantasy coexists with humor, somewhere between Art Brut and Belgian Surrealism.

Tinka Pittoors, born in 1977, is a Belgian artist living in Antwerp. Her work has been exhibited in numerous institutions, including the Musée d’Art Contemporain d’Anvers (M HKA), the S.M.A.K in Ghent, the M-Museum in Leuven, the Musée Beelden aan Zee in The Hague, the Palais d’Iéna in Paris, and the Biennale of Sydney. In 2019, the Château de Seneffe (Belgium) devoted a retrospective to his work, which was the subject of a major catalog. Galerie La Forest Divonne has exhibited her work in its Brussels space, at the Art Brussels fair, and soon at the Art Antwerp fair.

Ceramics by Tinka Pittors will be accompanied by furniture sculptures by François Cante-Pacos. Designer, sculptor and painter, in the 1970s he created furniture for the great couturier Pierre Cardin. He is also the creator of the well-known Pierre Cardin logo. His contemporary and timeless creations perpetuate the tradition of the great cabinet-makers.
