Bal ,is an artist,who continues to refer to mythologies from time to time as the main theme of his artistic work.
in the exhibition,the concepts of history,memory, narrative on the axis of mytology and actuality,present a different understanding of work in which images reach  form.The image of mythological  stories printed on an opaque decota plate and the photographic images digitally printed on a transparent plexiglass plate are surround by lace. and arranged as  decorative spectacle wall objects with a three-dimensional effect.As such,references are made to the three-dimensionall''Kaaba'' paintings that adorned the homes of poor in the past years.
the verbal expressions(mytologies) and the photographic images accumulated on digital screens and in the virtual universe to day,with a surprising similarity ,in terms of subject and content,combining them and working on top of each other lead the audience to an irreconcilable questioning about the historical.The mytholigies of Flood,Sacrifice,Karbala,and images and images that we encounter in the media every day, make the geographies that have ravaged from the past to the present familiar again. The Anotolian Goddes and god images of past,on the other hand  continue their existence not as archaic relics,but in the image of today's people,who are continuaiton of cultures.
These works are visual records of  a  time when myth and history are more similar then ever(always) and are perceived as a continuation of eachother.
These visual records,in which mytholigical images and their current projections are superimposed,eliminate the sharp destination that is supposed to exist beetween reality and representetion.Therefore representation and reali,which are the counterparts of two different images,emphasize historicity and continiuty.
